Yet far too many new sales managers are promoted from top-performing rep to team lead without the training, coaching, or support they need to succeed. They’re expected to lead without a roadmap, coach without preparation, and drive results while figuring it all out on the fly.

That’s a recipe for burnout—and the data backs it up:

  • 60% of new managers underperform or fail within their first two years (Gartner/CEB).
  • Nearly half of first-time managers say they don’t feel prepared to lead, and many report a sharp decline in confidence within the first six months (DDI Global Leadership Forecast).

When a new manager struggles, the whole team feels it: performance slips, morale drops, and turnover rises.

That’s why we created the Emerging Sales Leaders Program (ESLP)—to give new sales managers the tools, mindset, and confidence to lead with purpose and clarity.

Through practical leadership training, confidence-building coaching, and real-world strategies, participants learn how to step into management with the skills they need to succeed.
